Microsoft teased the first-ever Lumia smartphone with its own brandingyesterday, and a few leaked images are providing an early look at the handset. The device is the RM-1090 that has already passed through the FCC and TENAA.
The leaked images clearly show that the phone comes with on-screen buttons aka softkeys that are primarily designed for low-end devices, according to Microsoft. So it’s clear that the Lumia 535, following the numbering convention, will be a budget-friendly device.
As of now, it’s not clear what specs Microsoft is planning for its Lumia 535, but recent rumors and leaks have suggested that it will be packed with 5-inch qHD (960×540) screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.
The Microsoft Lumia 535 supports Dual SIM, and is rumored to come in seven colors – though we have already seen this in green and orange. The phone is expected to run the latest OS update, Lumia Denim. Moreover, it’s likely to feature a 5MP rear camera with flash, front-facing VGA sensor and 1900mAh battery. Although, the specs won’t win any awards, but if the device surfaces on Tuesday, November 11, it will be an attractive option for emerging markets like China, India and Africa.
